Tena koutou e ngā kāwai whakapapa no ngā Iwi katoa o te motu. Temuera Hall is of Ngati Tuwharetoa and Te Arawa descent and has been involved in asset management and financial services since 1994.
Tem is currently an investment consultant and partner with JMI Wealth and has established ‘TAHITO’ an indigenous ethical investment fund. The Tahito Fund applies ancestral Māori knowledge to measure companies. This is believed to be a world first.
Over his career Tem has developed a wealth of experience in building businesses, instilling values and culture, developing relationships and driving strategy. Tem has also played a key role in numerous investment collaborations and partnerships.
Other positions include Chairman - Opepe Farm Trust, Director - CNI Iwi Holdings Limited, and Chairman - Te Kakano Whakatipu Partnership. Previous roles include CEO Tuwharetoa Settlement Trust, Managing Director - Iwi Investor, Director - NZ Post, and Director - Scion (NZ Forest Research).
Tem is an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA), has a Bachelors Degree in Social Science from Waikato University and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
